George Ruyle, Secretary

George is a noted conservation ranching expert, professor and extension specialist with the University of Arizona’s School of Natural Resources and the Environment.  He holds a doctorate in rangeland science from Utah State, a master’s degree in rangeland management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Resources and Agriculture from Arizona State University.

Throughout his career, George has focused on partnerships with ranchers and government entities to improve the ecological science of rangelands.
