Peggy Rowley is a cattle rancher in Amado, Arizona. She and her husband Jon operate the Santa Lucia portion of Rancho Seco and the Carrow Land and Cattle Company. Peggy earned her Masters in Journalism at the University of Arizona and has worked as a journalist and in public relations in northeastern Ohio and Tucson. Peggy was a founding member of the Udall Center’s Common Ground Roundtable, a grass-roots organization of ranchers and environmentalists looking for common ground. She is the immediate past chair of the UA Steele Children’s Research Center Advisory Board, a Board member of the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance, and a member of the Arizona Cattle Growers Association.
